Hey Contenders,
We know it’s been a bit quieter than usual… but don’t worry, the show’s still going!
We’re still here, very much alive, and deep in development.
Over the past weeks, we’ve been fully focused on making GodsTV better. That means fewer updates and more behind-the-scenes work: refining systems, improving gameplay, and making sure the show hits the level of quality we want (and you deserve).
🎮 Playtests - A Short Intermission
First of all: thank you to all our testers.
The feedback from the previous playtests has been incredibly valuable. Seriously, you gave us a lot to work with, and we’re taking it to heart.
Because of that, we decided to pause playtests for a bit to focus on implementing improvements and polishing the experience.
Playtests will return soon, we just don’t have a set date yet. We want to make sure the next time you jump into the arena, the game is in a much stronger state.
🗺️ Roadmap Update (Yes, Again)
After a lot of internal discussions (and more meetings than we’d like to admit), we decided to push things back a little bit more.
Simply put: we weren’t satisfied with the current state of the game. And if there’s one thing we care about, it’s delivering the best possible show, not rushing something that isn’t ready for the spotlight.
Here’s where things stand right now:
The new public demo won’t be releasing this month, as it needs a bit more time in the oven
Early Access is still planned for 2026, but now targeting later in the year
We don’t have exact dates to share yet: everything is still moving, and we’ll lock things in before committing
We know delays aren’t fun, and we’re genuinely sorry for the wait. But, as always, It’s showbiz, baby. Anything can happen, and it’s all part of the indie experience™️, especially being a small studio.

You can find us at New Game Plus in London this week, on Thursday 16 and Friday 17!
We’ll have a work-in-progress build you can play, so if you’re around, come say hi and step into the arena early.

The GodsTV Easter Bunnyfication Challenge is currently underway!
You have until April 30 to draw any kind of bunny version of one (or more!) of the GodsTV characters and post it on socials tagging us and using the #GodsTVbun hashtag for a chance to win an All Star Collector's pack!

🗺️ Roadmap Update
Being an indie studio means we can (sometimes lol) take the time we need to improve things.
We looked at the schedule and decided to push things back a bit to polish, refine, and deliver the shiniest and delightfully chaotic show possible.
Nothing is set in stone (It’s Showbiz baby!), but here’s what you can expect:
Monthly playtests from now until the Early Access release
A brand-new public demo launching in April, open to everyone and their moms
Early Access planned for July, after the June Steam Next Fest
We’ll be announcing lots of cool stuff leading up to all of this, so keep your eyes peeled and visit our Discord often! 👁️📺

This Private Test is a huge leap from the demo: More moves, more powers, more narrative, the Backstage is open, and the first steps of the progression.
