The new GodsTV demo is OUT!
And here's our new flamins new trailer with, you guessed it, AG voiced by no other than Brandon Rogers! Some of you found out already, he's the voice of Blitz0 in the indie megahit Helluva Boss and we'll guide you through you path to Stardom!
Contender, rejoice!
This demo introduces the player as a wide eyed wannabe auditioning for the greatest TV show in the Capitalypse. It features around 2 hours of chaotic combat and hilarious narrative, the first 4 Show-Runs to play through, tons of upgrades, raunchy humor, and your choice to play as either badass ninja-popstar Leetah or fan favorite Kinni, who will be swinging his jiggle physics all the way to the top (Or the bottom?).
GodsTV brings chaos and action along with top-notch art, writing and voice talent. Characters have been designed by artist Anna Cattish, the writing team includes Adam Neylan and Lyle Rath (Helluva Boss) as well as Stephen Flowers (Helldivers 2). The cast is led by Internet sensation Brandon Rogers, and other seasoned pros who contrast with the talented breakout creators Kaisa Streams as Leetah and Jimmy “Nerdork” Sowell as Kinni.

We're back, Contenders!
GodsTV is back and hotter than ever. We’re very sorry for the radio silence, we have a lot to share but we needed some time in the lab to put it all together thank to your feedback. We’ve been hard at work, pedal to the metal, to bring you a new Demo as we ramp up to Early Access.

Where have we been?
Grinding features, polishing gameplay, creating chaos, writing jokes, recording voices, Participating in Steam Events, Indie Showcases, working like muddafreakers! It's been a very productive time at Melbot and after our start of the years playtests we've been addressing and building non stop.
The Writing Team
Up to recently Josema Roig our creative director has been writing in the shadows while juggling a lot of other stuff. One fine day he contacted Adam Neylan, who you may know as one of the main writers of Helluva Boss, Hazbin Hotel and others. Adam was excited to be a part of GodsTV and with Josema started drafting and evil plan: Creating a writers room as close to an animated show as possible, to make sure we push GodsTV to the limit! And so we brought on board Stephen Flowers (Helldivers 2) and Lyle Rath (Helluva/Hazbin/Wrath Club), to round up a hilarious group. This demo is the first taste of what this room can cook. And we're COOKING.

We’re Still Alive (and Cooking) 🍳📺

Hey Contenders,
We know it’s been a bit quieter than usual… but don’t worry, the show’s still going!
We’re still here, very much alive, and deep in development.
Over the past weeks, we’ve been fully focused on making GodsTV better. That means fewer updates and more behind-the-scenes work: refining systems, improving gameplay, and making sure the show hits the level of quality we want (and you deserve).
🎮 Playtests - A Short Intermission
First of all: thank you to all our testers.
The feedback from the previous playtests has been incredibly valuable. Seriously, you gave us a lot to work with, and we’re taking it to heart.
Because of that, we decided to pause playtests for a bit to focus on implementing improvements and polishing the experience.
Playtests will return soon, we just don’t have a set date yet. We want to make sure the next time you jump into the arena, the game is in a much stronger state.
🗺️ Roadmap Update (Yes, Again)
After a lot of internal discussions (and more meetings than we’d like to admit), we decided to push things back a little bit more.
Simply put: we weren’t satisfied with the current state of the game. And if there’s one thing we care about, it’s delivering the best possible show, not rushing something that isn’t ready for the spotlight.
Here’s where things stand right now:
The new public demo won’t be releasing this month, as it needs a bit more time in the oven
Early Access is still planned for 2026, but now targeting later in the year
We don’t have exact dates to share yet: everything is still moving, and we’ll lock things in before committing
We know delays aren’t fun, and we’re genuinely sorry for the wait. But, as always, It’s showbiz, baby. Anything can happen, and it’s all part of the indie experience™️, especially being a small studio.
